Takahiro Kido : Daily Songs (to be released on 20th August, 2021)

Three fragments which flow in everyday life.

On the 20th August, 2021, we will release a new EP from Takahiro Kido, a music composer who is also a member of Anoice, an instrumental music band featuring a magnificent cinematic sound. In addition to composing soundtracks for movies and TV drama series, he has been working on Anoice and side projects; RiLF, Films, Mizu Amane, Cru, and Tokyo Ambient Collective. But has now finally completed his new work as his solo project for the first time in five years.
'Daily Songs’, was recorded during Anoice's down time whilst recording works for their upcoming new album, 'The Hidden Forest’, to be released on the 17th September. The EP consists of three gentle songs, which acted as a form of relief for Anoice's members' from working on the production of the new album. A calm ambient guitar, catchy and melodic piano lines, a dramatic string quartet formed by two violins, a viola, and a cello, and rhythmic drums, all recorded in their raw sound and air within the studio. It is as impressive a musical work as Takahiro Kido's previous offerings 'Fleursy Music’ and 'Fairy Tale’.
Enjoy this music simplicity which stands in contrast to Anoice's darker tones.
