2018年7月13日（金） 渋谷O-NESTにて、アメリカ人、イギリス人、そして日本人によって構成された人種混合バンド、Oversleep Excuseのセカンドアルバム「UNIVERSE」のリリースを記念したライブイベントを開催します。カリブ海の楽器、スティールパンを使用した浮遊感ある独自のオルタナティブロックサウンドを、ぜひ、ライブで体験してください。

当日はOversleep Excuseの他に、Anoiceとcome to my partyも出演。Ricco Labelのレーベルメイトでもあるインストゥルメンタルバンド、Anoiceは3年ぶりの日本国内でのライブになります。なお、出演はcome to my party, Oversleep Excuse, Anoiceの順番です。

On 13th July 2018, we'll held an event commemorating the second album 'Universe' from Oversleep Excuse, the Tokyo-based alternative rock band made up of American, British, and Japanese musicians. Please come to experience the sinking feeling sound featuring a steel-pan, a musical instrument originating from Trinidad.

They will also share the stage with Come To My Party and Anoice, a cinematic instrumental music band who is a bandmate in Ricco Label.

Oversleep Excuse

アメリカ人、イギリス人、そして日本人による、多国籍オルタナティブロックバンド。ギター、ベース、ドラムというベーシックな構成で編成されたバンドサウンドの上に漂う気怠く浮遊感のあるヴォーカル。そんな、北欧のポストロック/エレクトロニカ独特の浮遊感漂う空気感を持ちながらも、ピアノ、シンセサイザー、そしてカリブ海の楽器、スティールパンやカリンバを導入する事で、彼ら独自のサウンドを表現している。 2014年、デビューアルバム「Slowly Better」をRicco Labelよりリリース。タワーレコード各店でレコメンドアルバムにも選出され、日本国内でもゲスの極み乙女。などのアーティストから高い支持を受けている。その後、シンガポールの音楽フェスティバル「BAY BEATS」や台湾の音楽フェスティバル「Spring Scream」にてヘッドライナーを務め、2018年にはセカンドアルバム「Universe」をリリース。 A band from Tokyo comprising American, British, and Japanese members. Intent on breaking out of the guitar, bass, drums mold, Oversleep Excuse expand their sound palette with piano, kalimbas and a steel pan, as well as utilizing electronic elements. The use of the steel pan in particular (the Trinidadian instrument) became a signature of their sound on their debut album, 2014’s ‘Slowly Better’, yet the way the band incorporate it into their songs sounds far removed from the Caribbean. Oversleep Excuse frequently play live in Tokyo, and went to Singapore to play the Baybeats festival in 2016, and Spring Scream in Taiwan in 2018.

Anoice

映画のような音楽を制作するインストバンド。2006年、ファーストアルバム「Remmings」でデビューして以来、ソニックユース、坂本龍一、植松伸夫など、世界中のアーティストから高い評価を得る。2012年、サードアルバム「The Black Rain」をリリースし、世界中の音楽メディアの年間ベストアルバムスに選出される。2015年には4枚目のアルバム「into the shadows」をリリースし、アジアとヨーロッパを中心にツアーを行なっている。 また、AnoiceはTakahiro KidoとYuki Murataのソロプロジェクトを始め、RiLF, films, mizu amane, mokyow, cruなどの多くのサイドプロジェクトを持つ。加えて、Anoice、及び各メンバーは国内外の様々な企業のCM、映画、及びテレビ番組の音楽を手がけ、ヴェネチア国際映画祭短編映画、イタリア賞、文化庁芸術祭、クールジャパンマッチングフォーラム、札幌国際映画祭など、国内外のイベントで受賞している。 Anoice is a Tokyo based cinematic instrumental music group. Their debut album 'Remmings' was released in 2006, and then released their highly-praised third albums 'The Black Rain' in 2012. In 2015, they released the 4th album 'into the shadows' which were recorded in not only Tokyo but also London, Paris, Warsaw, and Moscow, and then went to European and Asian tours. The members of Anoice are also involved in some side projects such as; RiLF, films, mizu amane, mokyow and cru. Takahiro Kido and Yuki Murata also write and release works as solo artists. In addition, Anoice and the members have taken charge of composing music for many commercial adverts, movies, and TV programs.
