mizu amane : rasen (to be released on 11th July, 2025)
The sound which appears and then vanishes like a reincarnation.
This is the 8th single from Mizu Amane, a side project of Films, a dark fantasy music project formed by the instrumental band Anoice, featuring their cinematic sound alongside two female vocalists with the same name. While Films' songs are sung with their own originally created languages, Mizu Amane features Japanese archaic languages which are no longer spoken.
Just like the previous works from Films and Mizu Amane, Anoice's members took charge of all the production, from composing and recording, to mixing and mastering. This song features not only an emotional piano played by Yuki Murata from, but also one of Japanese traditional instruments, Koto played by Takahiro Kido and Japanese original percussions by Tadashi Yoshikawa. All three are also members of Anoice and play a big role for expressing the mystical sound of Mizu Amane.
This is a fleetingly beautiful song where the short vocal melodies repeat over and over again whilst gradually changing like the sparkle of life.
This single will be released on the 11th July 2025, and will be available for free or “Name Your Price” on BandCamp.
